The outstanding Project of the Year Awards Program is a key element in NWCB’s ongoing effort to elevate the image of the wall and ceiling industry.
The goals of the awards program are:
- Recognize individuals and NWCB member companies for their contribution towards excellence in the wall and ceiling industry.
- Increase awareness among the construction community and the general public of the broad scope of outstanding work our members perform.
The program recognizes excellence in interior and exterior finishes on commercial and residential projects, as well as for light-gauge steel framing, suspended ceilings and renovation and restoration work. Projects were judged on design, jobsite innovation and/or conditions, quality of workmanship, use of materials and overall effect. The winners of the various award categories compete for the the People's Choice Award, which is selected by the NWCB membership.
The winners are featured in the NWCB newsletter, The Higher Standard, and in media and trade publications.
